Charming Cloverdale
Settled in the late 1800s, Cloverdale developed into a major transportation hub in the heyday of the railcar and was the seat of Surrey’s municipal government for over 50 years.
Although the clover fields that bare its namesake have dwindled, many of Cloverdale’s heritage buildings remain having been preserved, revitalized, and one important landmark rebuilt – Surrey’s heritage rail at Cloverdale Station.
Today, Cloverdale is home to:
- Surrey Museum
- Surrey Archives
- Cloverdale Library
- Cloverdale Station
- Cloverdale Agriplex
- BC Vintage Truck Museum
- Cloverdale Legion
- Northview Golf & Country Club
- Elements Casino at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds
