There are plenty of cultural events to see and do in South Surrey and White Rock throughout the year. The community’s claim to fame is the annual summer Sea Festival and 1001 Steps. In name only, the steps don’t number in the thousand but rather provide easy access to Crescent Beach from 15A Ave, off 126A Street.
Semiahmoo Library and RCMP Facility have the largest and most biologically diverse outdoor green wall – the first of its kind in North America – with over 10,000 plants and 120 different species on the building’s exterior.
