Fort Langley sits on the south bank of the Fraser River in the northern part of the Township of Langley, across the Bedford Channel from McMillan Island, roughly bounded by the river to the north and east and Glover Road/the surrounding rural Township lands to the south and west.

The Fort Langley National Historic Site, with its reconstructed 1800s trading post buildings, is the anchor attraction, drawing tens of thousands of visitors annually for historic reenactments, blacksmithing and barrel-making demonstrations, and children's programs.
