The historic Five Corners intersection remains the community's commercial and civic heart, with shops, services, and heritage buildings clustered around it, including the former Murrayville Garage dating to the early 1900s.
Murrayville is known for larger residential lots than many of Langley's newer developments, along with a cluster of restored heritage homes near the Five Corners, complemented by newer townhome and condo developments closer to the community's core services.
Murrayville residents can reach Highway 10 via the Langley Bypass and Glover Road, and Highway 1 via Glover Road or 232 Street, with TransLink bus service available to most of the area.
The Canadian Museum of Flight and the adjacent Langley Regional Airport are notable local attractions, along with the 22-acre Derek Doubleday Arboretum and its woodland gardens and walking trails. The Murrayville Community Memorial Hall, built in 1928 through community effort, remains a hub for local events and carries a heritage designation from the Province of British Columbia.
