Semiahmoo Shopping Centre, located within the neighbourhood, offers banks, restaurants, shops, and grocery stores including Save-On-Foods, all within walking distance for much of the community. The Shops at Morgan Crossing are just a few minutes away across King George Boulevard, and the Semiahmoo Public Library is also based in the neighbourhood.

Sunnyside Park offers a wide range of housing types, from classic West Coast custom homes on standard suburban lots to ground-level townhomes, condominiums, and seniors' residences, many within easy walking distance of Semiahmoo Shopping Centre.
