Willoughby is located in the north-central part of the Township of Langley, encompassing a cluster of newer neighbourhoods including Carvolth, Latimer, Jericho, Yorkson, Routley, Gordon Estate, Smith, and Williams, with strong connections south to Highway 1 via 200 Street and 208 Street.

Shopping & Commercial Areas

Willoughby Town Centre, at Willoughby Town Centre Drive and 208 Street, is the community's mixed-use commercial heart, combining retail space, restaurants, and offices with residential units in a walkable, pedestrian-oriented design. Additional retail is spread throughout the newer Willoughby neighbourhoods as development continues.

Housing Stock

Willoughby has the Township's highest concentration of newer housing, including condos, townhomes, and single-family homes with basement suites, making it a popular entry point for young families and new arrivals to the region. Highrise development has recently begun at Latimer Heights, with more towers proposed nearby.

Transportation

Willoughby offers quick access to Highway 1 and the lower perimeter road, along with the Carvolth Transit Exchange, and shares commuting advantages with neighbouring Walnut Grove via the Golden Ears Bridge.

Parks & Recreation

The Langley Events Centre, home to Vancouver Giants hockey and Trinity Western University volleyball, is located in Willoughby, along with Willoughby Community Park, Yorkson Community Park, and Ellens Park.
